As we step into 2025, we're renewing our commitment to advocate for meaningful immigration reform. This year presents us with fresh opportunities to push for policies that are humane, secure, and beneficial for all.

In 2025, the Bibles, Badges, and Business for Immigration Reform [link removed] network is committed to defending the dignity of immigrants and highlighting their positive impacts on our communities. Our faith [link removed], law enforcement [link removed], national security [link removed], and business leaders [link removed] are uniquely positioned to hold the center during a fraught political time. Together we will collaborate with our leaders and allies to continue to advocate [link removed] for secure, compassionate immigration policies. Humane and balanced solutions are not only possible but urgently needed.

As the start of a new year dawns, so does the start of a new administration in Washington, D.C. With the second Trump administration taking office later this month, there is much uncertainty about changes ahead. President Trump's actions during his first term caused tremendous uncertainty not only for immigrants, but also for their families, employers, and communities. Issues such as birthright citizenship [link removed] and mass deportation [link removed] will be center stage during this next term.

Business leaders continue to speak out [link removed] about how policies like mass deportation could lead to severe work shortages across the agricultural, healthcare, and small business sectors. Immigrants play a vital role in staffing these industries and their removal may ultimately hurt the economy and well-being of communities around the country. We must be ready to advocate for our immigrant friends, family, and neighbors.

Every day is a crucial opportunity to advocate for immigrants, not just at the start of a new year. Immigrants are vital to our communities, our economy, and our shared future. Let's continue to stand together, support compassionate and commonsense policies, and strive for a society that welcomes and respects everyone.
