Despite a lack of scientific evidence, despite the desperate need for donations, and DESPITE a legion of willing volunteers, the FDA is still following biased and outdated guidelines restricting LGBTQ men from donating blood. In fact, openly gay New York state Senator Brad Hoylman was turned away when he tried to donate!
