President Carter was the epitome of a selfless public servant.
His honesty, compassion, and principled leadership serve as a model for all of us as citizens and for all those in positions of public trust. President Carter lived his faith and his patriotism in such profound ways — and our world is better off for it.

Today, as we celebrate and remember President Carter, let’s honor his legacy by committing to serve our neighbors and work to improve our communities as long as we can — even until we’re 100 years old, if we’re lucky enough to live that long.
