Born and raised in LA, I am watching this unfold in my own backyard as these fires impact our scholars, alumni, partners, neighbors, team members, and loved ones – making this crisis deeply personal for our entire First Star family.

Our profound gratitude goes out to the brave firefighters and first responders working tirelessly under extreme conditions to protect our communities.
