John —

The damage of the COVID-19 pandemic in our communities is a reminder of why we need new leadership in Washington that will expand access to affordable health care and get our economy back on its feet.

We have a chance to do that in North Carolina by flipping this seat and putting an end to Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority in November.

But our opponent is well-funded by corporate special interests, and Mitch McConnell has already booked tens of millions in negative attack ads in North Carolina — more than any other Senate race!

That’s why I’m asking you to make your first contribution to our campaign today. This is a pivotal moment in our race — and if we have the resources to fight back and win, I believe we can move our country forward in the right direction.

With all that’s happening, our campaign looks a whole lot different. Instead of traveling the state in person, I’m doing it virtually through video town halls and phone calls.

The truth is, while this pandemic has changed a lot in our society, it hasn’t changed the one thing that matters: Our values.

If anything, I’m even more committed today to not only winning this election, but to ensuring folks all across North Carolina have affordable health care, good-paying jobs with benefits, and a government that works for them.

Donate anything you can today to help us win this election and get Washington back to work for the people. I truly appreciate knowing I can count on folks like you to stand with me in this fight.

Please only chip in if you can afford to. I know a lot of folks are struggling right now, and your family and safety come first. Thank you again for being a part of our team.

Talk soon.
