National Radon Action Month | |
Radon is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, yet it may be present at dangerous levels in homes and buildings. It is the leading cause of lung cancer deaths among nonsmokers in America, causing about 21,000 deaths annually. Radon exposure is preventable, and the EPA and U.S. Surgeon General encourage all Americans to test their homes, schools, and other buildings for radon. Learn more and spread the word.
