 TRINITY METRO TEXRAIL SURPASSES RECORD RIDERSHIP
Trinity Metro TEXRail celebrated new milestone ridership in December 2024. A total of 103,312 rides were taken on Trinity Metro TEXRail during the month, representing the highest ridership month in the service’s history and a 25% increase from December 2023.
Trinity Metro attributes the ridership growth to many factors, including the safety and reliability of the service, as well as ease of use through simplified fares and newly enhanced schedules. The new schedules, implemented in early November, provide for 30-minute service during midday hours, seven days a week.
 WINTER WEATHER PLANNING
Trinity Metro is monitoring current weather conditions and actively planning for possible service disruptions.
As always, we will do our best to keep as many transportation services operating as long as it is safe to do so. Operations supervisors will try to follow regular routes when possible, but icy or snowy conditions may affect some areas while others remain clear. We will actively monitor conditions and determine when detours are necessary. These will be posted to the Trinity Metro website as soon as confirmed.
In addition, Trinity Metro TEXRail and Trinity Railway Express will employ rail switch heaters along rail corridors to prevent tracks from freezing. Passengers may notice flames emitting from the tracks, but this is not cause for alarm and is well controlled.

 MODIFIED SERVICES ON MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY
Trinity Metro will be operating modified service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. On Monday, Jan. 20, all buses (except those noted below) and Trinity Metro On-Demand Paratransit will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule.
Trinity Metro TEXRail, TRE, TRE LINK, and CentrePort Circulator will operate on their regular schedules. All Trinity Metro On-Demand service areas will have normal operations.
The customer kiosk at Fort Worth Central Station will be open from 9 a.m to 6 p.m.
Administrative offices will be closed. Our Customer Support and Solutions representatives will be available at 817-215-8600 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
