Team, I am honored to have been chosen by my colleagues to serve as a Ranking Member of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. My work is grounded in my love of public lands, my understanding of energy technologies, and my unwavering commitment to deliver for the people and places in New Mexico and across our country. At the same time, I am clear-eyed about the work ahead to defend and protect our communities from the inevitable threat posed by the incoming administration. As I assume this role, I will work every day to provide effective leadership and protect New Mexico’s public lands.
