A rebellion is coming… It’s going to be bigger than ever before….
It’s time to get together and get set.
All across the nation, our movement will gather at The Rebel Rising Festivals to prepare.
FIND YOUR LOCAL REBEL RISING NOW!
Whether in Scotland or Devon, East Anglia or Wales, rebels from around the country are coming together to get trained, share skills and plan their part in biggest act of nonviolent civil disobedience in British history.
Each Rebel Rising festival will offer a full range of trainings from the essential Non Violent Direction Action (NVDA) training to more advanced trainings for experienced activists wanting to take things to the next level.
Members of the Action Design teams will give crucial briefings on how we plan to peacefully disrupt Westminster in October, on how our tactics are aimed to bring about transformative system change and on how to go about planning your own peaceful nonviolent actions to put pressure on the government.
It’s a place to reconnect with friends and rebels from previous actions, and to make new connections as we prepare for October 7 and what follows. (For more details, see here)
Long-running XR members and leading thinkers will hold workshops on strategy and of course, because we’re rebels, we’re going to have a big old party too!
Expect stunning music with surprise sets from famous acts, sustainable local food, teach-ins from leading experts and scientists, creative craft lessons, art blocking workshops, samba band trainings and so much more.
These are dark times we live in - but together, we can overcome anything!
