Earlier this week, the Department of the Interior announced plans to designate the Chuckwalla National Monument, protecting 624,000 acres of critical bird habitat, sacred Tribal lands, and breathtaking desert landscapes. Audubon California and a broad coalition of partners led this effort, supported by more than 56,000 Audubon advocates who sent comments to the Interior Department. Thank you!
