Right now, in North Carolina, we are witnessing what might be the beginning of a truly dark saga for all future democratic elections.

Last month, we shared a message with you from NC Dems Chair Anderson Clayton about the North Carolina Supreme Court race. Justice Allison Riggs’ victory in that race withstood two recounts, but Republicans are still refusing to concede. Instead, they’re trying to toss out enough legally-cast votes to overturn the results.

Now, this week, the 5-2 conservative majority on the NC Supreme Court blocked certification of the election.

When a state’s Supreme Court is blocking certification of a state Supreme Court election, defying the will of the people, it’s time to sound the alarm. The house is on fire.
