Our new Republican majority has been sworn in,
and we’re already delivering on our promises.
The very first bill we passed was the Laken
Riley Act, a critical step in protecting innocent Americans from dangerous
illegal immigrants by requiring DHS to detain non-U.S. nationals who have been
arrested for burglary, theft, larceny, or shoplifting. The bill also authorizes
states to sue the federal government for decisions or alleged failures related
to immigration enforcement.
But this is just the beginning. With so much
work ahead, I want to hear from you.
