City Closures & Service Updates

Non-emergency City facilities will close at 2 p.m. today, January 9, and reopen tomorrow, January 10, at noon due to inclement weather.

Republic Services will not run routes in Hurst on Thursday, January 9. Residential garbage collection will be shifted by one day. We will share updates as we receive new information from Republic Services.

Our Household Hazardous Waste Collection event is rescheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025. This change is intended to ensure better weather conditions and encourage participation for all.
