This week, we hit the ground running by passing the nonpartisan Laken Riley Act, legislation that ensures criminal illegal aliens are swiftly and permanently removed from our communities. The U.S. Senate, with support from members from both parties, is expected to bring up the Laken Riley Act soon.

The tragic and preventable murder of Laken Riley is a stark reminder of the consequences of failed leadership and misguided Biden-Harris border policies. Now, with Republicans in control of the House, Senate, and President Trump returning to the White House, we will bring commonsense, American values, back to Washington, D.C.
