Today, I want to take a moment to reflect not only on the challenges of that time but on the progress we’ve made since.

In the 2024 election, Minnesota led the way with record-breaking turnout and elections that were fair, accurate, honest, and secure.

Thanks to the efforts of tens of thousands of election workers across the state, Minnesotans came together to ensure our voices were heard and our democracy remained strong.

But the work to protect democracy doesn’t end.

We face ongoing challenges, from disinformation campaigns to threats against election workers. If we want to continue building on our success, we must:

– Safeguard the freedom to vote for every eligible voter.
– Push back against dangerous election disinformation.
– Ensure our election workers are protected and safe from threats and harassment.
