Under extreme Republican leadership, Montana’s public schools are experiencing historic underfunding, dramatic budget cuts, and rampant teacher shortages. It’s clear that our public schools desperately need support, but instead, Montana Republicans are working around the clock to re-direct taxpayer dollars to unaccountable private schools!

We want to be clear, John: Republican Governor Greg Gianforte is doing everything in his power to give taxpayer-funded handouts to well-off private schools. In fact, his foundation has donated more than $17 million to organizations that support diverting Montana taxpayer dollars to private schools!
Montana Democrats believe every child deserves the freedom to receive a high-quality public education — but Republicans like Greg Gianforte are hell-bent on taking even more resources away from the schools that need it most.
