John–

This is it: state legislatures are gaveling in. And as lawmakers return to
office—along with the looming Trump administration—we must use this
opportunity to continue to build on our work to end gun violence and save
lives.

John, this is where the hard work begins. This is where we
fight to advance life-saving gun laws and fight to prevent dangerous gun
bills pushed by gun lobby-backed lawmakers.

Our ability to mobilize and show up at state legislatures has often been
the difference between a good gun bill passing or a dangerous gun bill
being made into law. And these next four years will be especially crucial.

So, despite a gun lobby-backed majority in Congress and the gun lobby's
champion making his way back into the Oval Office, we'll work harder than
ever to continue advancing gun safety laws at the state level across the
country.

But we can only maintain these fights if dedicated supporters like you
fuel our resources. John, are you with us?

safety in state legislatures across the nation. Our fights today and into
tomorrow need your support.

The time is now to seize the opportunity to make progress on our gun laws
across the country—and the time to be prepared to stop dangerous gun
lobby-backed legislation from advancing.

Thank you for supporting this movement.
