Team — Arizona’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Horne, has used his position to wage extreme culture wars to satisfy a MAGA base of megadonors. It’s extremely dangerous for an education official like Tom Horne to advocate for such an extreme and radical policy like abolishing the Department of Education.
Abolishing the department would leave millions of kids at risk — especially kids who depend on assistance in the classroom and children with special needs. Cutting the department would also leave colleges and universities in peril without student loan dollars, impacting hundreds of thousands of students in Arizona.
Republicans may try to hide the truth, but we’ll make it clear: the GOP is working to demolish the Department of Education to continue their culture wars in our classrooms. Pitch in $10 right now to help us defeat Tom Horne in 2026 and elect a real fighter for our schools.

The GOP has tried to ban books, stopped pay raises for teachers, and is now calling to abolish the Department of Education. They’re hurting schools more than helping. That’s why we need your help to fight back.
Thanks for your support today.
