I’ll never stop saying it, but no one is above the law — including Donald Trump.

Just days before he is sentenced, Trump is doing everything he can to have the 34 felony charges against him dismissed — not because he’s innocent, but because he believes being president puts him above accountability.

Let me be clear: while he won’t get jail time, this conviction doesn’t disappear. The U.S. President will be a convicted felon — a depressing first in history.
