John - This week, students and educators are back in classrooms across the state. Now, more than ever, we need to keep fighting to make sure New Mexico continues to invest in a brighter future.
Last year, we made unprecedented investments in education: We invested nearly half a billion dollars in our schools. We gave educators a raise. And we established the Early Childhood Education and Care Department to ensure every three- and four-year-old gets a head start on their future.
We accomplished all of this together, John. But we have more fights ahead to make sure New Mexico children get the education they need to thrive.
I get to set the priorities for the next New Mexico legislative session, and I need your help. Right now, I need 1,000 top supporters like you to tell me what should be on the agenda, but I haven't seen your response yet. Tell me before it's too late:
Do you think education should be a top priority for the next legislative session?
