This week, I spoke about Harmony NYC — my vision for addressing our city’s mental health crisis and becoming a leader in mental health reform.
Right now, New York City is in a mental health state of emergency, and we cannot continue to turn our backs on people in need of mental healthcare.
But before I share more on Harmony NYC and how we can transform our city’s mental healthcare system,
can you chip in $10 or whatever you can to help me hit my fundraising goal of $10,000 before Saturday at midnight?
Here are just a few pillars in my plan for mental health reform and justice in NYC:
- Ensuring every New Yorker has access to mental healthcare, regardless of zipcode or income
- Fostering collaboration and partnerships to deliver preventative care
- Equipping communities with the tools needed to care for their own mental health — without the stigma
- Prioritizing proactive mental wellness and improving crisis response systems
- Incorporating holistic wellness in the mental healthcare model
On day one, I’m ready to be proactive in tackling our city’s mental health crisis, because it’s gone ignored for far too long — but I need your help to get there.
Can you donate $10, $25, or any amount to help me raise $10,000 before Saturday’s MAJOR fundraising deadline? NYC residents will have their donations MATCHED up to 8X!
In solidarity,
Jessica Ramos
