Join us for an opioid overdose awareness and response training on Jan. 23

Kitsap Public Health will host a training with South Kitsap Fire & Rescue in Port Orchard.

Kitsap Public Health District is partnering with South Kitsap Fire & Rescue to offer an opioid overdose awareness and response training from 6-7 p.m. on Jan. 23 in Port Orchard.

• Overdose risk factors
• Signs of an overdose
• How to respond to an overdose
• How to administer naloxone (Narcan): an easy-to-use medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. 

Naloxone will be provided to attendees as supplies allow.
