It’s no secret that we have big challenges ahead this year. We also have a lot to tackle – and I’m ready to hit the ground running to start this new year off right. Last year, I co-sponsored over 30 bills to make life better for Oregon families – from delivering disaster relief for farmworkers to wildfire prevention. And I’m proud that I secured over $14 million for local projects across our district, supporting infrastructure, housing, and public safety — and that we brought in more than $315 million in federal grants to Oregon. But, our work is far from done. Now, I’m continuing the fight to pass a bipartisan farm bill that levels the playing field for our growers and strengthens rural communities. I’m working to bring more CHIPS and Science Act investments home to Oregon – creating good-paying jobs and positioning our state as a global leader in technology manufacturing for years to come. I’m staying committed to expanding access to mental health and addiction treatment through the progress we made in the bipartisan Mental Health Caucus last Congress. These are uncertain, polarized times – but no matter what lies ahead, I will always stand up for the Constitution and the rule of law. I’ll work with anyone – Republican or Democrat – who is committed to lowering costs and delivering real results for working families. My priority is simple: pass policies that make life safer and more affordable for my constituents and all Americans. If you’re with me, can you pitch in today to help us take on the tough work ahead?
