📣 Request for Qualifications: Consultant for San Joaquin Regional Housing Fund

 

Help support the growth of affordable housing! The San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) has an exciting opportunity for a consultant to support the growth and operations of the San Joaquin Regional Housing Fund (RHF). The consultant will play a key role in developing a fundraising program, establishing an advisory committee, and working alongside SJCOG staff to create and release both a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and the processes for awarding funds.

1/30 - 1/31, Novogradac: LIHTC 101 - The Basics The LIHTC 101: The Basics webinar presents a basic overview of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) incentive, primarily as it relates to the rental property generating the tax credits at the "lower-tier" operating partnership. This webinar airs in two parts on Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31 from 10AM-12PM PT on both days.

2/24, HLC: Community Interpreter Training Program Join the Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo for a week-long in-person certificate program. This program is designed for new/working staff performing interpretation in their roles at their organizations and individuals looking to deepen their understanding of best practices for language justice in community settings. Deadline to apply: January 20.
