Four years ago this week, January 6, 2021, our nation witnessed an unprecedented attack on democracy, when an angry, violent mob stormed the U.S. Capitol in a deliberate attempt to overturn the 2020 election results.

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind the insurrection was incited by Donald Trump and his far-right extremist allies, some of whom are still in Congress today.

Many of those who participated in the violence have yet to face justice and Donald Trump has vowed to pardon those charged with federal crimes for their role in the attack upon his return to the White House.

I will never forget what happened on January 6th and I promise to do everything in my power to hold the extremists who attacked our democracy accountable for their crimes. John, will you join me in demanding full accountability for the January 6th insurrectionists?
