In less than two weeks, Donald Trump will be back in the White House. The President-elect is already spreading lies to promote his far-right agenda, and Rob’s calling him on it.
After the horrific New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans, Trump pushed the racist and xenophobic claim that the perpetrator was an immigrant, when he was a U.S. citizen and Army veteran born in Texas. Instead of telling the truth, Trump would rather fearmonger to advance his mass deportation plans and other cruel immigration policies.
Trump is also touting tariffs as the source of “vast wealth for our country.” While he claims they’ll “pay off our debt,” Rob has correctly pointed out what economists have been warning: Trump’s tariffs will only increase prices and drive up the costs of living.
We should be prepared for more lies and more misinformation these next four years with Trump back in power, but with your support, Rob will be there to set the record straight and hold him accountable.
