That was Dr. Anthony Fauci's message this week at a virtual session with Mike and local leaders from more than 300 cities around the world.

As the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Fauci is a leading figure in the pandemic response and a source of expert insights. In the conversation, he shared perspectives on safely reopening our communities, the need for robust testing to prevent a resurgence of infections, and the importance of local leadership:
