ORGANIZE FOR POWER! 6 WEEK COURSE! Deadline to Apply February 2nd
?
SacDSA has been invited to participate in O4P's 6-week core fundamentals course! ?This course is co-hosted by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and based on the teachings of labor organizer Jane Maclevey (RIP), who this chapter was fortunate to host as a guest in the summer of 2018. ?In this course, members will strengthen their skills as organizers and learn how to effectively organize workplaces, communities, and campaigns. ?
O4P trainees will meet once every week on Thursdays starting February 13th until March 20th for two-hour sessions and participate in group assignments designed to develop their campaign organizational skills. Meeting times will either be 9:00am-11:00am (Track A) or 5:00pm-7:00pm (Track B); ?groups have to have at minimum 10 people, so we would only be able to sign up for a track(s) if there are at least 10 people available for a time slot. If you are interested in participating:
?
1. Contact us before February 2nd (just reply to this email) 2. Inform us of which track(s) you would be interested in or able to participate in.
