Newly leaked documents show that the fossil fuel industry is banking on a massive bailout from Congress. We can’t let that happen.

John,

Oil and gas lobbyists are working overtime to protect their profits during this pandemic and get as much of our tax dollars as possible. Newly leaked documents show that the fossil fuel industry is banking on a massive bailout from Congress.1

We can’t let that happen, John. We know that relief must go to workers and families now – not corrupt corporations who are fueling another public health crisis.

That’s why Congress must include provisions to prevent oil, gas, and coal companies from gaining access to money in the latest stimulus bill and any bailout going forward.

Will you send a message to your Senators today urging them to pass the HEROES Act and include provisions to block any money for big oil?

Last week, the House passed a $3 trillion stimulus bill called the HEROES Act. It’s unacceptable, and that’s why we need to pass the HEROES Act with provisions to block any funds to fossil fuel companies now.

Let’s get started,
