Friend, I'll level with you: I know you get a lot of political emails. You're tired of them. And frankly, so am I.

That's why heading into 2025, I'm making you a promise.

You're going to see fewer emails from me and my team and more substantive updates on the work my office is doing to fight for New Yorkers. But I want you to know that fewer emails mean each one we do send becomes that much more critical.

Because as you know, every new year brings new challenges – and 2025 will be no exception.

That starts with our first public filing deadline of the year on January 11th – meaning in just a few days, my fundraising numbers are going to go public, and the strength of this movement will be scrutinized by far-right extremists for any sign of weakness.

And while I'm committed to not overcrowding your inbox, I really need fearless fighters like you to give what you can, whenever you can to reach critical public goals like this one. So please, will you give $5 or whatever you can spare right now toward my $25,000 January 11th public filing goal so I can tackle the challenges that lie ahead?

When I was sworn in as the first Black woman elected as New York AG, I made a promise to protect the voiceless and vulnerable, no matter what obstacles stood in my way. And in the years since, I've fought hard to make good on that promise. But I'll be blunt, friend: The challenges we face in 2025 are only going to get harder. 

Increasing attacks on abortion, surges in corporate greed, and growing threats to our democracy are all waiting for us in the year ahead as the GOP settles back into power.

And yes, while these new challenges won't be easy to overcome, the reality is that this is the same fight we've been powering through since the beginning.

I'm ready to fight back harder than ever before to ensure extremism doesn't take root in New York in the year ahead. But with my plan to send fewer emails your way, I truly need each and every message to raise as much as possible to keep this movement going – and that includes Saturday’s public filing goal, where hitting my $25,000 goal is a must.
