700,000-acre landscape is located just south of Joshua Tree National
Park. It is more than just a picturesque backdrop-it's a
sanctuary for Indigenous heritage and a lifeline for endangered
species such as the desert tortoise.

Friend, we also want to express our heartfelt thanks
to you. Your dedication and support played a key role in making this
protection possible. 

This victory underscores the power of collective action to protect our
country's most precious landscapes. With just days left in his
term, President Biden has an opportunity to protect other vital
landscapes and historic sites like the Great Bend of the Gila and
