Friend, Georgia’s legislative session starts in less than a week.

Ahead of then, my team is getting ready. Our top priority this year is leveling the playing field for small businesses and consumers.

For far too long, Georgia law has allowed frivolous lawsuits to run wild. The result is an unfair playing field in the courtroom — which creates a hidden tax on consumers across the state.

We made progress in changing that last year, and this year it’s time to finish the job.

I’m committed to working with Governor Kemp and the state House and Senate to get this done. 

And just as I have been since day one, I’m committed to holding the powerful accountable, busting fraudsters and arsonists, and putting Georgia families and consumers first.
