Warning ⚠️ another day, another horrific story of illegal immigrant crime in the news… ⚠️

This time, an undocumented immigrant was arrested for allegedly having a high capacity firearm, cocaine, $1,000,000 worth of fentanyl, and a flourishing drug enterprise, all run from the comforts of a state-funded migrant shelter in Revere.

Our Republican Caucus is all over this story and is demanding accountability from the Healey-Driscoll Administration. 

How is it possible an undocumented immigrant here illegally ended up in an emergency family shelter even though our laws do not allow it?

How did he pass the background check as part of the application process?

How did he gain access to a high capability firearm despite our strict gun laws?

How was a criminal drug enterprise being run out of a taxpayer-funded family shelter?

How is the Healey-Driscoll administration letting this happen to Massachusetts? 

What will it take to get her to stand up for us?

Massachusetts Republicans stand strong in our call to amend the Right to Shelter Law residency requirements. 

The migrant crisis has spiraled into a financial catastrophe, a humanitarian disaster, and a severe threat to public safety. 

Massachusetts residents deserve answers and the Democratic Supermajority needs to put partisanship aside and work with Republicans on solutions.
