Exciting news! Women Winning is proud to endorse Monica Meyer for the Special Election in Senate District 60!

For years, Monica has been one of the most steadfast and recognizable champions of Reproductive Freedom in Minnesota. Her work enshrining abortion and LGBTQIA+ rights into state law has helped make Minnesota more just and welcoming to all people, and we know that her experience, drive, and passion will greatly benefit all Minnesotans in the State Senate. It is an honor to endorse her as our champion for Reproductive Freedom and to carry on the important legacy of the late Senator Dziedzic in Saint Paul.

Monica Meyer is a lifelong Minnesotan and for the last decade, she and her partner have been planting roots in Northeast Minneapolis where they are proud to be raising their daughter. Throughout her career, Monica has championed the collective needs of Minnesotans. From her work as a key leader on the campaign for marriage equality in Minnesota to passing nation-leading anti-bullying legislation to protect young people, and enshrining the strongest reproductive freedom protections in the country into law, Monica has long been on the forefront of historic change making. Monica is a leader who will not only fight alongside her community to advance our vision for the future, but also fiercely protect the gains Minnesota has made. 

Women Winning will make additional endorsements in 2025 and will continue organizing to ensure reproductive rights are protected by electing pro-choice women up and down the ballot.
