Who knew this would be the hot-button issue of 2020?

John -- none of us could have predicted how unstable and heartbreaking 2020 would be. I imagined myself organizing in communities to defeat Donald Trump. Now with COVID-19, we are quickly re-inventing what it means to campaign and have important conversations with swing state voters.

Vote-by-mail is a key tool states must use this year to keep Americans safe and ensure we protect the right to vote. But Trump is lashing out at states that make it easier for people to vote-by-mail.

Please share your thoughts: What role do you think vote-by-mail should play in our elections? I'm going to use this information to reach out to more supporters and guide our organization's actions.

We are in the middle of monumental changes in campaigning and voting.

Democrats are tasked with pivoting our organizing models to reach voters in swing states, and election officials across the country must prepare for a massive influx of requests to vote-by-mail.

With not much time until the election (165 days but who’s counting?), your thoughts on vote-by-mail are incredibly valuable. Please take a few minutes to let me know how you feel.

Organizing is key if we’re going to win in 2020. Doing the work that matters and expanding vote-by-mail is a huge part of ensuring Americans can access the ballot box.

I'm in it for the long haul and happy to have you on our team.

Thanks,

------------
Vote From Home 2020 is a grassroots movement that's making vote by mail more accessible. With a $25 donation, we'll send vote by mail applications to 20 voters. COVID-19 has brought America to a halt, and with it almost all in-person voter mobilization efforts. While volunteers can’t get on buses to swing states or go door-to-door right now, there is a huge opportunity for progressives, especially in solidly blue states, to get out the vote where it counts. By sending vote by mail ballots to targeted states and following up with text and calls to voters, we can ensure the 2020 general election is safe and accessible. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $25 so consider donating that today to support voting rights.
