Mitch McConnell has no place in the Senate. Hundreds of thousands of people have lost their lives in the past few months, and McConnell decided it was more important to prioritize trillions of dollars on bailing out corporate interests instead of supporting hospitals and essential workers.

We have to get him out of office and replace him with someone who doesn’t look at the family and friends we’ve lost as collateral damage.

Charles Booker is that person. He knows the struggles of everyday working people first hand because he’s lived them himself. He’s a type 1 diabetic, grew up in poverty in one of the poorest zip codes in my home state of Kentucky, and fights for the lives of black and brown people daily. He’s a true Green New Deal champion. And he’s got backup: 16 members of the Kentucky House Democrats endorsed Booker just this week.
