It’s official:

This Friday, I took the oath of office and was officially sworn in as the Congressman for California’s 47th Congressional District.

I’m clear-eyed that the next two years won’t be easy. Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans will stop at nothing to take our country backward.

But America is worth fighting for.

I owe everything to this country and it’s the honor of a lifetime to fight to protect our democracy, safeguard our freedoms, and defend the access to opportunity that sits at the core of the American Dream.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me to serve.
