Today marks the 4th anniversary of the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol — a day we’ll forever remember as an assault on our democracy.

But let’s be clear: the threat didn’t end when the insurrectionists left the Capitol steps. Many of the people who fueled Donald Trump’s Big Lie have risen to positions of power right here in Arizona.

Take former GOP State Senator Anthony Kern — he was literally in the mob at the Capitol on January 6th, and footage shows him in areas breached by the rioters as they clashed with Capitol Police. This is the same guy who helped push Arizona’s sham audit of the 2020 election.

And he’s not alone. Dozens of Arizona politicians supported Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election. These people are dangerous and unfit to lead.

We wouldn’t trust them with a paperclip, let alone decisions about our schools, rights, and democracy. That’s why we’re organizing to defeat every single one of them.
