Kitsap Transit rides into Kingston with updates on local bus, ferry service at Jan. 8 meeting
Kingston-area residents are encouraged to attend the next meeting of the Kingston Community Advisory Council Wed., Jan. 8 to hear an overview of Kitsap Transit's bus and ferry service from Kitsap Transit Executive Director John Clauson. There will also be updates on plans for a ferry maintenance facility in Seattle and new bus routes from Bainbridge Island to Kingston.
The KCAC meeting takes place 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend! There will be time to ask questions.
The meeting also features KCAC committee reports, announcements about community events and activities, and opportunities for public comment.

The Kingston Community Advisory Council holds public monthly meetings to provide a discussion forum and enhance communication between Kingston-area residents, businesses and Kitsap County government. KCAC members work proactively to address community issues and concerns. They represent Kingston's broad interests as at-large members appointed by County Commissioners or spokespeople of local organizations including the Port of Kingston, North Kitsap School District, the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, Village Green Foundation and Friends of the Kingston Library.
