Lives were lost and more than $3 billion in damage was caused — and now Donald Trump is preparing to take office and free all of the incarcerated J6 insurrectionists. These are the people who attempted to overthrow our government and the will of the people — it’s traitorous and sets a dangerous precedent for what’s to come.
In 2020, Trump infamously told far-right extremists committing violence to “stand back and stand by.” Now, he’s getting ready to release the violent extremists who attempted to put an end to American democracy.
Our Revolution is organizing massive resistance and counter protests for when the J6 traitors are released. We’re building our Rapid Response Team in DC to fight the Trump admin and his far right authoritarianism every step of the way. We need to hire organizers and recruit a mass of volunteers. We need boots on the ground.

And he’s going to let all those charged or convicted of crimes stemming from the traitorous acts of the January 6 insurrection go free. This is a disaster for our democracy.

We need everything from a lead organizer in D.C. to a videographer. We need signs, bullhorns, and bus fare for activists. We need to fund the research and media teams that will be at the forefront of the narrative wars during this administration.
We’re getting back to the basics of grassroots organizing and activism while the Democratic establishment is unwilling or unable to wield power as an opposition party. We must be the force to hold off Trump’s right-wing takeover.
