Country First officially launched on January 31, 2021. But in truth, its real launch was that dark day on January 6, 2021.

That day, we witnessed something unimaginable: a sitting President, unable to accept the results of a free and fair election, refused the peaceful transfer of power and incited an attack on our democracy.

That day shook me to my core. It marked the moment I realized that the Republican Party I had joined long before Donald Trump was no longer the party of principles and truth. It was gone. And from that moment, I have been honored to stand with you as part of this movement—a movement rooted in defending democracy and holding those who wish to tear our democracy down accountable.

Accountability is why I joined the January 6^th Committee where we unleashed the truth and exposed the lies of Donald Trump and his allies. And I will forever be proud of the work my colleagues and I did.  We were effective and it’s evidenced by Trump and his allies trying to normalize that day and rewrite history.  They do this because they are embarrassed by their actions and embarrassed by the truth.  But history will not erased their acts of turning their back on the United States of America and what we stand for. 

And I have No Fear of retribution for telling the truth.  And this Movement should hold no fear.  Country First has released the following video highlighting our movement together.  Because now our mission is more important than ever. 

The work continues. Today reminds us that our mission is far from complete. It’s only beginning, and it’s more critical than ever.

The response to our Thank You Letter Drive for the Capitol Hill Police and DC Metropolitan Police has been nothing short of inspiring. It’s a testament to the power of this movement and the impact we can have together.

But we know the challenges that lie ahead. The months and years before us will test our resolve, our endurance, and our determination.

This movement isn’t just about standing against what’s wrong—it’s about building what’s right. Together, we’re shaping a new future:

• A future where we can be proud to pass this country to the next generation.
• A future where what happened on January 6, 2021, will never happen again.
