John, the new year is off to a fast start, and I’ve been reviewing the results from our 2025 Communication Survey. [[link removed]] I’m glad to see so many responses from folks ready to take on what’s ahead.
The truth is, we can’t separate what happens in D.C., in the media, and online from what’s happening in our communities. Everything is political – from the roads we drive on, the education our children get, the quality of food we find at the market. What happens in D.C. will impact our lives whether we want it to or not.
That is why we have to be equipped to stay engaged.
My team and I are listening, and I’ll be taking your suggestions on how we can help you stay informed and engaged in our strategy for the new Congress and the next election cycle.
Before we get into some of the early results, if you haven’t taken our survey yet, please do so here. [[link removed]]100% voted to break up misinformation. [[link removed]]
I’m ready to do all of the above when communicating through my platform, in the district, and in Congress to help break through GOP disinformation and take back the narrative on who really has solutions and will fight for the things we care about.
What happens in Washington has real consequences – it has a real-life impact on you, your family, and your community. You deserve to have real, clear, and accurate information, especially during this Republican trifecta.
It’s clear we, as Democrats, have a lot of work to do when it comes to getting our message across and communicating effectively in this modern media environment. Here are a few more ways we’re stepping up to better connect this cycle:
* Deliver fact-check reports
*
* Host more in-person events in the district
*
* Communicate the truth early and often on all platforms
*
* Repeatedly tout the benefits of legislation we sponsor
*
* Stand strong and unified against Republican disinformation
We have a lot of work to do, thank you for giving your feedback and helping us get a sense of what you need going into this uphill battle against the GOP in 2025.
If you haven’t taken the survey yet, I urge you to do so here. [[link removed]]
Thanks again,
