Medicaid Coalition Meeting on January 9
Hi all,
We hope that you enjoyed your holiday break!
As you all may know, former President Carter will lie in state in the Capitol Building this week and there will be a funeral service held for him on Thursday. Due to the increase in security and federal offices being closed, we expect that many folks will be working from home.
To ensure that Medicaid Coalition members are still able to join our call on Thursday, January 9 at 2:00 PM ET, we will be moving to a fully virtual platform. The agenda will remain the same. We will have a panel discussion on pressing threats to Medicaid and opportunities for us all to engage. We will be joined by:
-
Amy Robins, Senior Director of Policy, PHI
- Alisha Lineswala, Senior Policy Analyst, Planned Parenthood Federation of America
- Caroline Medina, Director of Policy, Whitman-Walker Institute
-
Gelila Selassie, Senior Attorney, Justice in Aging
This panel discussion will focus on threats to people who experience disabilities, older Americans, the LGBTQ+ community, and reproductive health.
