Did you see? We’re running a billboard to make sure that Marjorie Taylor Greene’s constituents know that she’s teaming up with Elon Musk to slash our Social Security system―and to make sure they can pick up the phone and tell her to quit it.
Before Congress adjourned for the year, they held their first meeting of the Congressional caucus supporting Elon Musk’s Slash & Burn Commission. I stood outside and reminded every member of Congress who I saw that Donald Trump promised to protect Social Security and Medicare during the campaign. To help remind them, I had a bunch of copies of Trump’s campaign mailers that were extremely clear.
Caucus co-chair Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saw me, ripped the mailers out of my hand, and called Donald Trump’s mailers “Democrat bullshit.” You might have seen the clip:
There are almost 100,000 retired workers who live in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. So even though Marjorie Taylor Greene might feel like she’s in a “safe” district, I don’t think those retirees will take too kindly to Rep. Greene’s betrayal.
