Friend, I am incredibly honored to serve as chair of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. And I'm grateful to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for entrusting me with this important role.

From now until Election Day in 2026, I will work my hardest to recruit the strongest possible Democratic candidates, help them build exceptional and energized campaigns and ensure they have every resource needed to win. I am confident that we will protect our Democratic incumbents, mount strong challenges in our battleground races and look to expand our efforts into some unexpected states.

I first ran for Congress back in 2006, with my three-year-old son, Theo, on my hip. I took on a long-term Republican incumbent in a district with a 2-to-1 Republican majority — and won. I know what it takes to win in red and purple places, and I look forward to helping the next generation of Senate candidates do the same.
