Seeking input, engagement on Comprehensive Plan Implementation Progress Report

The Department of Commerce invites cities, counties and interested parties to share their experiences with the comprehensive planning process.

As we begin a statewide analysis of the impacts of comprehensive planning, your input will help develop metrics for future tracking. This work will inform the effects of implementation, including key outcomes such as housing affordability and availability, permit processing timelines, greenhouse gas emissions and vehicle miles traveled.

The effort is connected to Commerce’s Comprehensive Plan Implementation Progress Report, a required step for the fastest-growing counties [ [link removed] ] and the cities within them that have populations of 6,000 or more.

*Engage with us*

Interested parties can submit comments, sign up for a listening session, or opt to participate in a workgroup via the online form [ [link removed] ] by Jan. 24, 2025. Workgroup schedules are still shaping up, and participation will likely involve meeting once a month for several months in 2025.

*Questions?*
