Last week, just hours after a deadly ISIS-inspired terrorist attack in New Orleans tragically killed 14 Americans, protesters in Times Square were chanting “There is only one solution — Intifada revolution,” and “Resistance is glorious — we will be victorious.”
From the heart of New York City, these anti-Israel protestors are glorifying terrorism.
It’s horrific. We know what “intifada” meant for Israel: a brutal campaign of jihadi terrorist attacks targeting civilians across the country.Bombings, car rammings, shootings, stabbings— Palestinian terrorists did everything possible to murder innocent people.
We need to stand up to this threat. We need to send a powerful message that violent extremism will not be tolerated in America.
Israel is on the front lines of the fight against terrorism. That’s why it’s essential that the United States continues to stand with the Jewish state. Israel is taking on the same terrorists who have killed scores of Americans.
These anti-Israel radicals know that too. At their demonstration, they carried signs that said “Zionism is cancer,” and “End all U.S. aid to Israel.”
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
