Costco Won't Back Down on DEI Initiatives, Despite Backlash |
by S.A. McCarthy |
While corporations and companies are scrambling to distance themselves from woke initiatives and avoid the resulting boycott backlash, one major retailer is doubling down on its unpopular policies. The National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR) recently issued a proposal to Costco, urging the organization to evaluate and retire "discriminatory" diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, according to The Hill. |

4 of the Biggest Challenges Facing Parents - and What to Do about Them |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
Raising kids in today's radically evolving culture isn't for the faint of heart. Younger and younger parents are realizing that their children are being exposed to ideas and people that never crossed our minds at their age. Things like: How many genders are there? Am I racist because I'm white? Am I hopelessly disadvantaged because I'm not? "Leading our kids through a world we're trying to understand ourselves as parents isn't simple," FRC's Joseph Backholm acknowledged. How should moms and dads confront this moral revolution and emerge with kids whose faith and convictions are intact? |

Report Finds Biden's DOJ Put Over $100 Million Toward DEI: 'American Families Deserve Better' |
by Sarah Holliday |
In November, a report was released by the government watchdog organization OpenTheBooks.com proving the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had spent roughly $39 million on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs throughout the Biden-Harris administration. And yet, this number now pales in comparison to an even newer report that found the Department of Justice (DOJ) put over $100 million toward the same agenda. |

Outstanding - Ep. 164: Chasing Justice: A Mother's Unyielding Faith |
Podcast with Joseph Backholm and Josephine Wentzel |
Josephine Wentzel lived every parent's nightmare when her daughter, Krystal Mitchell, was murdered in 2016. She joins Joseph Backholm to tell her story of tracking down her daughter's killer after realizing that law enforcement was not actively pursuing the man. Josephine's story is one of grief, justice, and a God who is still good. As her daughter told her shortly before her death, "Our faith should be like if we died, met Jesus, and came back to earth." A faith of obedience and eternal purpose. |

IVF and Human Embryos: The Debate We Must Have |
by Chuck Donovan |
As Americans hear or read about children being born who might otherwise not have joined us, the immense ethical challenges posed by these therapeutic and experimental techniques can slip behind the clouds. The rush of Republican and other voices to establish a permissive "Wild West," no-liability framework for the IVF industry is heedless and unconscionable. |

Amid Violence and Death, Trust God |
by Joshua Arnold |
Only hours into the new year, a man killed15 people and injured about 30 after he drove a rented pickup through a crowded New Orleans street, then exited his vehicle and began shooting. Around 8:40 a.m., another man detonated a car bomb in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, injuring nine (the driver was the only casualty). Shortly before midnight, 10 people were wounded in a mass shooting outside a New York City nightclub. What a sad, violent opening to the year! What is going on? |

How J6 Never-Trumpers Are Trying to Steal the 2024 Election |
by Bob Marshall |
Among never-Trumpers' continuous efforts to embarrass themselves while contriving futile attempts to block Donald Trump from becoming president is the supinely deficient advice coming from attorneys Evan Davis and David Schulte urging that when the Electoral College meets on January 6, Democratic congressmen "need to take a stand against Electoral College votes for" Donald Trump because he is supposedly guilty of insurrection based on their ahistorical claims and flakey reading of the 14th Amendment's Section 3. |

New Orleans Terror Suspect Planted Explosives at Catholic Cathedral |
by S.A. McCarthy |
The suspected terrorist who drove his car through a crowd in New Orleans on New Year's Day also targeted American Catholics with bombs. While most media outlets noted that Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the U.S. Army veteran who killed 14 and injured 35 more when he drove a truck through a crowd on Bourbon Street, had planted at least two explosive devices in ice coolers, veteran reporter Raymond Arroyo observed that one of those explosives was placed outside the St. Louis Catholic Cathedral in the French Quarter. |

Searching All of Scripture for the 'Unsearchable Riches of Christ' |
by Sarah Holliday |
In Ephesians 3:8, the Apostle Paul wrote of "the unsearchable riches of Christ." "Unsearchable" means that something is "unable to be clearly understood." In relation to God, the use of this word is highly appropriate. After all, if God could be absolutely and clearly understood, is He really the Almighty God He claims to be? He cannot be shoved in a box, and the finite being that we are certainly cannot fully comprehend an infinite Being such as God Himself. And yet, that does not mean He's not worth exploring. |
