Last week in Washington, my colleagues and I reconvened to elect Representative Mike Johnson (R-LA) to continue serving as Speaker of the House of Representatives! Speaker Johnson is a good man who will serve his country dutifully and deliver the agenda the Republican Conference was entrusted to bring about.

This past week was our first week back in Washington, D.C. for the 119th Congress! I took the opportunity to inform you, my constituents, that I proudly supported Congressman Mike Johnson of Louisiana to continue serving as Speaker of the House of Representatives for the next two years.
