This morning, Elon Musk tweeted, calling for me to be voted out of office. Once again, he’s trying to show that he and his billions should control not just the government but the future of our democracy.
Elon Musk said that I need to be "voted out, either in the primaries or the general election" and he has the resources to try to do it.
I was elected by the people in my district to represent their interests—not the interests of billionaire oligarchs. That’s why I refuse to back down from doing what’s right for working families, even as Elon uses his wealth to spread misinformation and attack those who stand in his way.
Let me be clear: I’m not afraid of Elon Musk or his attempts to weaponize his fortune. I’m proud to fight for Social Security, expand Medicare, and push for tax relief for working families—not billionaires. But standing up to billionaires like him takes resources.
Today, I’m asking for your help to push back against the lies and distortions he’ll undoubtedly continue to spread. Every dollar you contribute goes directly toward countering his misinformation, reaching voters with the truth, and ensuring we keep fighting for the people who sent me to Washington.
